I really don’t know where January went! I have had such a busy month with work and also socialising at the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait photographers) and now we are in February!
I have been going to The Pottery Restaurant and Tapas Bar now for a number of years. It is a firm favourite with my other mummy friends too and we try to meet up when we can for a catch up!
So, it has been such a great opportunity to be working with them to put together this wonderful Valentine’s promotion which is for 10th, 11th and 14th February.
For every couple who book for those evenings they will receive a voucher from The Pottery which will entitle them to a 45 minute “urban couple” shoot with me. Which is a fantastic opportunity!!!
So why a couple shoot, well why not! Many people wait to celebrate their love by having a photography shoot when they get married but it needn’t be so. The couple photography shoots are all about your relationship, a photojournalistic record, a snapshot in time (excuse pun) of your relationship. I will showing later this week a shoot that I did for a wonderful couple from the States who celebrated 7 years of marriage together! But why wait 7 years! It could be 7 months!
The Pottery are now taking bookings and do mention my blog when you do book!
The Valentine’s Menu is as follows:-
Two courses £25.95 plus glass of house wine
Four courses £29.95 plus glass of prosseco
Cream of asparagus and spinach soup.
Beef skewer served with blue cheese fondue
Pan fried sea scallops & risotto cake.
Fruit Sorbet and Citron Vodka
Deep fried goats cheese topped with caramelized plum
served with vegetable cous cous, wild rocket leaves.
Char grilled T bone steak served with ‘pont neuf’
potatoes, rosemary jus.
Baked monk fish and prawns in a bag with white
wine, saffron and butter, served with
Dark Chocolate & Ginger mousse, mixed berry sauce
Plum Compote with Sambuca and vanilla ice cream
Sticky Toffee Pudding with ice cream
My mouth is watering just reading this and I am on a diet!
The images above show the elegantly boxed gift voucher that you will be given when you book for the special Valentine’s evening that The Pottery have scheduled. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Wishing you a beautiful week of love and happiness!
