I know that the weather has been slightly grim – but my garden has been loving the rain and my visits to Richmond Park in the morning to walk Reggie and Rosie (my border terriers) have been so glorious with the grass and the leaves on the trees so lush and green.

So we are hoping that next month we are going to see sunny weather with the Prom season very soon upon us.

Last year Nathalie Baur and myself produced an article for the Wimbledon Darling magazine with hints and tips  on prepartion for an evening that would be probably be one of  the best nights of one’s life! So I thought it is time for you to see a couple of shoots from last year.

I started the “Pre Prom Photography Session” in 2011 whereby I come over to your home to take beautiful portraits of you and a small number of friends and family for around 45 minutes before you set off to your prom. For more details see my website.

Sophie was one of my work experience students from Surbiton High last year and it was a pleasure to be part of this really exciting time at the beginning of her evening and all the girls in Sophie’s group looked stunning! Sophie’s (above left) make up was by the very talented Kaz Fernando.

I was also asked by a friend in the photography industry to come along to his daughter’s pre prom get together, again the girls looked amazing – particularly Ana!

Don’t you just love these shoes!!!!

All the girls met at Ana’s house and were so excited particularly with the arrival of the white stretched limo!
