I originally met Dr Terry in 2013 when she was working from her first clinic in South Molton Street, Mayfair. Dr Terry is a integrative cosmetic and skin doctor.

The whole idea of working with a client with their brand in mind is to ensure that I give an insight into the individual through the images, the face behind the brand.  Dr Terry’s original brand colour was an azure blue which suited her so well which you can see later on in this post. I am showing the shoots in reverse order so here are the images from the second shoot which took place in 2015. We did the photography session in and around Dr Terry’s clinic at the time, again in Mayfair. We were so blessed with a beautiful day! The whole point of the shoot was to update Dr Terry’s imagery as she was launching her new brand and the colours had to tie in with the new website.  She had 3 changes of clothes and there was a framework to the shoot around the outfits she was going to wear. As part of the shoot experience, I usually send through a what a wear guide and there is a general discussion with a plan in place about 10 days before.

Knowing that Dr Terry is a precise and incredibly professional woman, she is also very lovely to be around and I needed to show her character as well as her passion for her business in these images.  I am very glad that she was pleased!  Here is the lovely testimonial that she gave me.

I hired Annie to do my professional pictures a couple of times. First when I launched my first clinic and 2nd time when I changed my website and wanted to focus on my personal branding. Personal branding photography is very popular in America and is getting more so here but there is a reluctance with individuals (particularly British) to put themselves in front of the camera (not selfies) for so many reasons. It is my job to ensure that my clients are happy and that they are made to feel special.  I usually show the back of the camera every so often during the shoot so that they feel more comfortable and have an idea of how they are coming across.

Here are images from that first shoot.  As you can see it wasn’t all about Dr Terry’s beautiful portraits but showing her at work, in the setting of the clinic and detail shots.This first shoot only took around an hour but I certainly was able to capture the essence of her personality and show her professionalism within that short time.
