Yes I know it has been a while since I have posted anything but after a hectic time with photography shoots it is only now I am seeing clients for them to view their images from the summer. The frantic time of June and July is now in the past and I feel rested and have an autumn ahead almost full to capacity with work which is great. I have only a couple of family lifestyle weekend sessions left (lots weekday availability still) and I have a number of “Portrait in the Park” weekend sessions left.
Since I have had time off this summer I had quite forgotten what it was like to not think about the business but to rest and just be – this is something which I have now taken on board and in the next few months I intend to make more time for myself and my family and most of all – know my limits.
One of the things that has to be a priority are my blog posts and so here to start is a photography session that took place in June.
Sam contacted me via Facebook in the spring to say that she was coming back to the UK to visit family as they were now living in Australia and that they would be in Kingston upon Thames KT2 for around 10 days. I have known Sam for a few years now as we used to say hello in the street on a school run and I remember commenting to her how pretty I thought she is.
As you know I have a number of nurseries that I work with and Sam had seen the results of my work as I had taken a photo of her son Conor! I must say that it was a real privilege to work with Sam, Dan, Marcus, Paolo, Conor and Amber and we were so blessed with a very beautiful morning for the session on the 25th June. I turned around the editing and post production within 24 hours for the viewing of the images for Sam and Dan and they decided to have a 16×12 album which was sent to them last month and I know will be treasured for years to come.
Here are a few of my favourite images from the shoot.
