I thought it would be lovely to talk about my baby photography.

As you know I work with families of ALL ages but photographing babies is very special to me.

I’ve featured Melanie, Nick and Archie because it’s one of my most favourite baby sessions this year.  Melanie contacted me as she wanted to book a session for a few weeks after her baby was due.  It was a little further into our conversation that she told me I’d worked with her husband, Nick, at Compaq nearly 20 years ago.

Archie was born on Valentine’s Day and I went over for the photography session in March. I always do my best for everyone but I must say there is a little more pressure when working with friends and people who know me well!

My photography is very simple –  no props, no hats (unless the client requests a shot with one of baby’s own). What I intend to capture is baby at home, the new relationship with mummy and daddy, and the home itself.

The only way this can be done is to spend time and see the moments as they happen. I love the image below of Melanie and Archie -it’s one of my favourites from the session.

Half-price booking fee

Throughout January, February and March 2014, I’m offering a half-price booking fee for sessions at home. The offer applies to photographs of babies under 12 months and the session can include siblings too.  *The booking fee for Saturdays will be £160 instead of £320, and for week-day sessions it will be £110 instead of £220.
