A LITTLE BIT about me

I’ve always been creative – whether it’s dressmaking (including turning old handbags into hats!) or writing and performing songs. But I found my true creative niche after my son Peter was born and I began taking pictures of him.
As all parents know, those early years pass so quickly and suddenly those tiny little people are teenagers! Recording those cherished moments as Peter began to grow became so important.
I knew I was creating memories my husband Tony and I would be able to look back on. I knew too I’d finally found the perfect outlet for my creativity so I went back to university to immerse myself in photography.
I set up my branding, lifestyle photography business from my home in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey in 2007 and it brings together so many facets of my life.
I love being with people – getting to know them and finding out about their lives. I think that’s why I’m able to put clients at ease so they get the get the best out of their photoshoot whether they are a personal brand client or a family.
When I’m not working, a camera is always to hand – even if it’s just my iPhone. I see possible photographs everywhere I look – even in seemingly mundane things. As Peter is now 23 and just left university my main subjects to photograph are my completely mad border terriers, Reggie and Rosie!
I love being with people – getting to know them and finding out about their lives.
